Berti kitchen knives are available with or without a magnetized wood block. Knives purchased with a magnetized block are part of a system named Insieme (pronounced in-see-em-ay), which means “together” in Italian. *Please call the shop for details on the block set*
Each wood block features a pictogram of the knife it holds. You no longer need to remove a knife from the block to know which blade you have chosen.
This system is an ingenious way of storing knives in the kitchen, whether on a counter or in a drawer. It allows everyone to choose the exact set of knives that best suits their needs, and easily put them together to form a sleek, personalized knife set, while banishing the clunky knife block.
